With Spring now in full bloom, we’ve got a wide range of beautiful seasonal flowers for you to choose from!
Spring is our favourite time of year here at Sweet P, and to celebrate we’ve filled the shop with the most gorgeous seasonal flowers – guaranteed to brighten any space and lift your mood.
Cut Spring flowers often come in a shorter stem, perfect for a smaller vase. Whilst they don’t tend to last quite as long as all year round cut flowers, they are often cheaper and smell divine!
Starting with a classic Spring flower, why not treat yourself or a loved one to daffodils – cheerful and reasonably priced. Or you might like to consider another classic with our array of tulips. We have a huge choice of colours and varieties available – including frilly, parrot, and double. And here’s a top tip, put a 2p or 1p coin in the water with your tulips, this helps them stay upright, as they do tend to droop. Tulips also carry on growing after they have been cut! They will last the longest in a cool place, out of direct sunlight, with water changed daily and the stems recut.

We also have a wide variety of other stunning Spring flowers from a range of species – including Anemones (delicate with vibrant colours such as deep purple and cerise), Ranunculus (with their paper-like petals and incredibly pretty for a Spring wedding), Scabiosa (despite the ugly name, a very pretty spring flower!), Hyacinths, and Freesia. Our mixed Spring bouquets start from just £25, available online to purchase, or simply phone or pop into the shop.
Spring plants sold outside include hyacinths, tête-à-tête, muscari, and tulips. These can be enjoyed inside or outside; and once they’ve died off, plant the bulb in the garden and watch it come up every year. Planted arrangements are available throughout Spring with a wide variety of pots and planters. Simply pick a pot and we’ll plant it for you.
Lastly, do bear in mind that the supermarkets’ Spring flowers are often substandard, bought in huge bulk to lure customers in, and are generally not well cared for. Supporting a professional florist ensures you get the very best quality flowers and support a small local business!
