Spring is in the air and it’s that time of year again where we celebrate and give thanks to our amazing mums, and what better way to show our love and gratitude than with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day!
Mother’s Day will be celebrated across the UK on Sunday 27th March this year, but did you know the tradition originated in the United States in the early 20th century when a lady called Anna Jarvis organised the first Mother’s Day service of worship at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church in West Virginia, which still serves as the International Mother’s Day Shrine today.
We may not be a shrine just yet, but we do have a fantastic array of stunning seasonal Mother’s Day flowers for you to choose from. All our bouquets are exquisitely presented with water and will be available at our High Street shop with longer opening hours on Wednesday 23rd (9am – 6.30pm), Thursday 24th (8am – 7pm), Friday 25th (8am – 8pm), Saturday 26th (7am – 8.30pm) and Sunday 27th (7am – 5pm).
